Captain's Cove Golf & Yacht Club

Colby was hired in 2021 as the senior executive staff member responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the association, amenities, food and beverage operations, and golf. Additionally, she coordinates long-term projects with the executive staff at the direction of the Board of Directors. Before joining Captain’s Cove, Colby was Director of Amenities and Operational Logistics for the Ocean Pines Association. Colby is also recognized as a VA professional through CMAA and is an active board member for the Snow Hill Chamber and the AGH Foundation Board. Colby is also a mother to two daughters, Remy a 23 graduate of USC and Sadie a current student at ESU and also playing lacrosse. Her office is located in the Marina Club

Justin is the executive staff member responsible for managing the administration of the Captain’s Cove Association. In addition, he manages internal/external communications, the Environmental Control Committee, coordinating Board Meetings, managing official documents, Web site administration, Social Media moderation, and serves as the Secretary for the Board of Directors. Justin is also responsible for the Information Technology operations of Captain’s Cove, and has worked in Communications for 8 years before joining CCGYC in 2013 as Communications Coordinator. He was promoted to General Manager in 2018. Justin has a BA in Journalism from Averett University. His office is located in the Marina Club.

Jimmy is the Director of Roads and Maintenance, as well as scheduling daily projects, procuring equipment and supplies, and overseeing seasonal boat slip rentals. His office is in the Maintenance Building.

John is Chief of Security; he manages day-to-day security operations to ensure the safety and well-being of members, guests, and staff. John worked for the association from 2006 to 2011 and returned to work for the association in the security department in 2022. John has lived in Captain’s Cove since 2003 and has a home here with his wife, Alex, and two children, Serena and Layton. John is a graduate of Snow Hill High School and studied Information Processing and Computer Science at Worcester Career & Technology Center.  

Sara Shifflett is the Controller for Captain's Cove and serves as the Treasurer for the Board of Directors.

Dana is the Accounts Payable & Payroll Coordinator for Captain's Cove. She is in charge of Human Resources and employee benefits and worker’s compensation—including payroll—and assists with on-site accounting. Dana has worked for Captain’s Cove for more than 20 years.

Angela Winder is Accounts Receivable Clerk, as well as other administrative functions.
